While many places invest energy in the recreational adult use cannabis market, Tennessee continues leading the way for the development of an exemplary hemp industry, because even with it's conservative culture, they're leading in terms of high quality experiences, thanks also to its tight-knit community.

This was confirmed during our Nashville visit, where we got to spend time in the new themed restaurant that offers hemp-derived infused gastronomy and beverages, as well modern devices to try out extracts. This unique experience is what you'll find at Buds & Brews, which in alliance with The Holistic Connection (our pet's CBD product supplier for the past few years) and Craft Cannabis have accomplished this entertaining result.
Seeing vaporizers in every table (which, by the way, are made with hemp wood) that the customers can use before, during, and after their meals is literally one of our dreams come true, where we can exist with the freedom of enjoying the benefits of this plant. We look forward to seeing them add battery free devices for vaporization of both flowers and concentrates. We'll definitely be back!
The plans for this state don't end here. Once they accomplish their goals with things hemp-related, they will be working on the next logical steps: medical Cannabis as well as adult use, with levels higher than 0,30 % THC.

We spoke to the president of the Hemp Alliance of Tennessee, Frederick Cawthon, to get to know a bit more about his perspective regarding the radical changes that have happened since our last visit in 2019, where we knew of very few stores and brands and the options out there were CBD, and more recently, CBG (now you see many places with a variety of offers including both naturally occurring cannabinoids as well as more synthesized products).
For him, as well as for us, the preference resides in natural options when it comes to medical consumption, such as HHC and THCv. In the same manner it's interesting observing the evolution on regulation for Delta 8 and THC-O, to name a few examples.

And of course we had to toast the news that Cawthon took as a great Holiday gift: Receiving almost $5 million to continue hemp related research in Tennessee.
Amongst the plans of those involved with this project is including all industries posible, from automobiles to plastic, paper, textiles and wood.
And before farmers start throwing planting their seeds, they want to analize every detail to guarantee a neutral Y antes de que los granjeros tiren las semillas a la tierra, quieren analizar primero cada detalle para garantizar a neutral carbon footprint.
To kick off 2023 in the best way possible, we will be participating in the next local event and hoping to share more examples of good practices when it comes to hemp being planted for fibers:
